ESI Toronto and COVID-19

Message from Bernard Renaud Promoter and owner of ESI

The ESI team has begun receiving questions about the status of our Toronto 2020 trade event with regards to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

At this time, there are no changes scheduled for ESI Toronto 2020 and it will continue as planned, just like all other shows and events in Toronto

We have considered the current evidence-based science on COVID-19 from authoritative sources, such as the World Health Organization; the importance of the health, safety and well-being of our attendees, exhibitors, staff and partners. ESI is also in regular contact with the Ontario Ministry of Health, who advises us that the current risk of transmission is low. Neither the Ministry of Health nor Toronto Public Health have given any direction to limit public gatherings at the present time.

As an event focused on a well-being profession, we will be following best practices to ensure a safe environment throughout the entire facility. In addition to regular health and safety procedures, we will implement additional measures at the ESI Toronto 2020 event, such as increased cleaning and disinfection; greater availability of alcohol-based hand sanitizer; and signs reminding attendees of good hygiene practices.

The ESI Team will continue to monitor and adapt its response as the situation evolves. We will provide further updates accordingly.

The Ministry of Health is providing regular updates and guidance on COVID-19

For up to date information about COVID-19 you can visit the PHAC website and our website for current show information.

We are confident that all appropriate measures are being taken, and that our Toronto event will be as amazing and fulfilling as you have come to expect, year after year.

Looking forward to seeing you on April 19 & 20!
